Parkersburg Tornado Officially an EF5

The National Weather service survey team made it official today, the tornado that devastated Parkersburg, IA was a EF5 tornado on the Enhanced Fujita scale, meaning it packed winds of 200+MPH. This is the first F5 tornado in Iowa since 1976. Earlier, there were some rumors saying that the town of Parkersburg would be bulldozed over.
